NOTES:
I ran across some primary source materials for Mordecai McLeod, which may be useful in expanding on his profile page.
Records from NEHGS’ American Ancestors listing individuals killed in Indian raids, describe Mordecai McLeod as “a Scotsman.” I have attached a snippet from the Middlesex Register since this is some evidence that he may have been a SPOW. Citation: Massachusetts: Vital Records, 1621-1850 (Online Database: AmericanAncestors.org, New England Historic Genealogical Society, 2001-2016). https://www.americanancestors.org/DB190/i/13320/15/238394852
I saw from his profile page that there was no information as to his date of marriage to Lydia Lewis. He married Lydia in Lancaster, Massachusetts on 31st 11th month 1670 (31 January 1670 OS). Lydia’s surname is not given in the record; she is just referred to as “his wife.” Citation: Family Search (https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog) Middlesex County, Massachusetts, Pulsifer, Births, Marriages and Deaths, 1671-1745, Middlesex County (Massachusetts), FHL Film 892250, Item 2, FHL DGS 7009675; digital image 206 of 760, last accessed March 10, 2019.
I see from his profile page that the birthdate of his daughter, Hannah was guesstimated. Hannah was born in Lancaster, Massachusetts on 16th day 9th Month 1671 (16 November, 1671 (OS)). I have attached a snippet view of the entry from the transcribed records in the event we want to update his profile page.
