On 10 Feb 2017, Scott Wilson wrote, “I am trying to verify that John Wilson on the John and Sara passenger list is the first Wilson of my family to come to America. I found the following in “The History of New Ipswich, New Hampshire, 1735-1914: With Genealogical of Principal Families” written in 1914.

I am quite sure that the Supply Wilson mentioned is my ancestor and am trying to determine if the John Wilson of Woburn is also my ancestor. There are a number of John Wilsons–as you might expect–and different sources and trees chose different Johns.”
