“I have one date that of the first John Cragon. I have four documents one by a family person who says death date is 27 of Jan and the other three good sources say death date 27 of Oct. Rest of info checks out with my sources.” (The discrepancy is probably because of the calendar difference. ~ Teresa)

“CRAGGIN,” or CRAGIN.
John Craggin was taxed in the Country Rate, made Aug 26, 1666 and is numbered
April 3, 1668 with those who had right in the common lands of Woburn. He married
Sarah Dawes Nov 4, 1661; and by her had 8 children; two of whom, twins, Rachel &
Leah were born March 14, 1680 and both died four days later. He died Oct 27,

“Either “John Crag” or “John Cragon” of the John and Sara evidently ended his days in Rhode Island. In September, 1683, “John Crage, a scotsman and a Tayler by Trade,” hanged himself from a cherry tree on the land of John Potter at Portsmouth.[37]“
