Biographical Notes:
Mother Deborah died on 21 Jan 1711/12 and her 18 year old son, Joseph died 22 Jan 1711/12, probably a disease:

“Short, vol. 2. 8. “In October 1712 commenced a mortal sickness in the town of Waterbury, in Connecticut, which raged for eleven months. It was so general that nurses could scarcely be found to tend the sick. What the disease was, I am not informed; but not im|probably it was that species of putrid pleurisy, which has so of|ten made dreadful havoc in America.” A brief history of epidemic and pestilential diseases; with the principal phenomena of the physical world, which precede and accompany them, and observations deduced from the facts stated. : In two volumes.
