IMPORTANT UPDATE! (July 2018)
According to, Christopher Gerrard, Pam Graves, Andrew Millard, Richard Annis, and Anwen Caffell, in, Lost Lives, New Voices: Unlocking the Stories of the Scottish Soldiers at the Battle of Dunbar 1650, (England: Oxbow Books, 2018), on page 255, Angus is categorized as: Doubtful [that he is a Dunbar prisoner transported on the Unity] McPherson/Maggafasset/Makefashion/Mackfarson/Make Farshon/Mackfashon/Mackakaion/Mackfation, Angus/Anguish/Ambrose/Anglish. Residences: Lynn, Charlestown, Rowley Village, Cambridge MA. Appears: 1656. B.c.1633. D.aft.1671. The Angus or Ambrose recorded at Lynn is probably the Origlais Mackfarson who arrived on the John & Sara.
